Vision
A Nationally recognized and Internationally Responsive Pro-active Student-centered Union
of Philippine Normal University Student Governments that Provides Truthful, Excellent, and
Quality Service promoting Holistic and Sustainable Development through Leadership

Mission
PNU-NUSG is dedicated to providing innovative and responsive leadership in the needs and
interests of the students in Philippine Normal University.

Goals
In pursuit of the Mission, the PNU-NUSG shall:
a. unite and serve the Philippine Normal University students;
b. protect and promote the students’ interests, rights and welfare;
c. uphold genuine academic freedom and excellence in the university;
d. work as a catalyst of relevant and liberating education;
e. foster principle and establish harmonious relationship among students, faculty,
and administrative staff of the University and other sectors of the society; and
f. instill consciousness and democratic participation among the students in particular
and the masses in general.

Objectives:
PNU-NUSG aims to:
1. implement projects and forum task force addressed at giving solutions/remedies to
problems concerning students’ welfare, faculty, administrative staffs and other school
personnel related to the students;
2. spearhead activities and researches that can help further students’ awareness and
involvement in resolving problems and issues of local, sectorial, national and global
concerns;
3. establish extension programs and linkages to other sectors of the society;
4. provide trainings, workshops and lectures to the students pertaining to arts, culture,
science, and other fields;
5. conduct leadership programs intended for the students and student-leaders;
6. encourage students in exerting best effort in developing their potentials for service
and leadership in order to strengthen the union;
7. ensure the active participation of the students in all activities of the union;
8. secure a transparent national union; and
9. uphold the laws, morals, attitudes and values of the University and the Country.
