Volume of Cuboid 1.the Volume of A Rectangle Box (Or Cuboid) - × - × - 2. Find The Volume of The Following Rectangular Solids

The document discusses how to calculate the volume of a cuboid or rectangular box. It provides the formula that volume equals length times width times height. It then gives examples of calculating the volume of cuboids with different dimensions in meters, centimeters, and cubic units of measurement.

1.The volume of a rectangle box (or cuboid) = ________ × ________ ×

________.

2. Find the volume of the following rectangular solids.

N.E.S. HIGH SCHOOL

VOLUME OF CUBOID

1. Find the volume of the cuboid whose dimensions are:

(i) length = 5 m, breadth = 4 m, height = 3 m

(ii) length = 48 cm, breadth = 36 cm, height = 24 cm

(iii) length = 12 m, breadth = 5 m, height = 4 m

2) Find the volume of a cuboid of dimensions 14 cm × 12 cm × 8 cm.

Volume of cuboid = length × breadth × height.

length = cm, breadth = 12 cm and height = cm.

Volume of cuboid = × × cubic cm.

= cubic cm.

Therefore, volume of cuboid = cubic cm.
