STUDENT ALLIANCE AND BATCH COUNCIL ELECTIONS 2015

MITING DE AVANCE GUIDELINES

I. Purpose
1. To let voters meet and understand the candidates.
2. To give the candidates a chance to explain their General Plan of Action (GPOA)
and prove themselves as worthy student leaders.

II. Rules
1. Candidates must observe time limit. The SAEB shall be strict with time.
2. Stick to issues and platforms, not personalities. Observe this also during the
open forum.
3. The members of the audience must observe proper behavior (no jeering, “boo”s)
- respect to the candidates.
4. Do not repeat questions that have already been asked.
5. Address questions to the candidates relevant to their position.
6. Ask relevant and sensible questions - personal questions regarding the
candidate will not be entertained.

STUDENT ALLIANCE CANDIDATES


VENUE: Front Lobby
TIME: 11:30 AM – 12:00 NN
FACILITATORS: SAEB

SCHEDULE:
Party Introductions (15 minutes)
10 - 15 minutes KALIDAD will introduce themselves and their GPOA

Question & Answer Portion (10 minutes)


The SAEB shall ask one question per position. Each candidate must answer the
question in one minute. The SAEB will observe strict time limit.

The student body may ask questions to the candidates. If a question is addressed
to the party, the party may choose a representative to answer.

TIME: 12:00 NN – 12:30 PM

SCHEDULE:
Introductions (5 minutes)
Each party will be given 5 minutes to introduce themselves and present their
GPOA. Independent candidates and batch representatives running under SA parties
will be given 3 minutes to present themselves and their GPOA.
