Dear Sir,
With reference to your notice of request for Expression of Interest (EOI) for District Support
Engineer published in the website of NRA, I would like to express my interest for the given post.
I recently completed my Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering and I have at least 3 years of
experience in related field. As a Support Engineer for the implementation of National Building
Code, I have already worked in Division office Ilam and Division office Kathmandu to support the
Municipalities within Ilam Division and Budhanilkantha Municipality in Kathmandu for checking
of designs and drawings in the Building Permit Section for National Building Code compliance. I
also have an experience of supporting the Division offices for the Computer Aided Design checks
of Apartments, Housings and Hospitals. In addition to this, I worked in an INGO named Build
Change in the Reconstruction related job where I supported the technical team to design
mechnical Manuals and perform design for Low Cost Housing. I have skill of developing, reading
and interpreting AutoCAD, SAP2000, MS-Office, Etabs and Staad Pro. Some of these skills I
developed during different training programs while some of them were learned on the job.
I am confident that my understanding of the requirements for the post of DSE matches my
educational criteria as well as the previous work experiences. Dealing with individual house
owners, suggesting appropriate corrections in the designs and recommending designer engineers
for National Building Code compliance has been my exact exposures in my previous work which
matches the roles mentioned for DSE . If I am kindly selected I will work for building a safe society
and always promote the prosperity and dignity of NRA. My CV has been attached herewith.
