Design Brief Template - Lava Lamps

The document provides instructions for students to create lava lamps in groups of 3 as part of a science experiment. Students are assigned different materials to collect - jars, water, oil, or aspirin tablets. They will make predictions and observations as they add the oil to the water and food coloring, and then again when adding the aspirin tablet. The activity links to curriculum on chemical science and science inquiry skills.
