This Week’s Focus: Students will be working with hundreds charts, number lines, base ten blocks
and other strategies in math to subtract up to two-digit numbers. We are also learning strategies to
add up to four two-digit numbers. Students will begin practicing adding/subtracting 10 and 100.
We will be reading and doing activities with the theme of Halloween/Fall this week. Students will
also continue to learn about weather this week in science. Students will record the weather daily
to learn about weather patterns. We will continue working on narrative writing that includes a
beginning, middle and ending.
