Clean Up the Money!

Players: 2

Materials: Game mat


1 regular die
1 die marked A, B, C, D, E, F
6 each of pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters

Directions:
1. Each player takes 3 of each coin.
2. Players take turns placing one coin at a time on any empty spot until
all 24 coins have been placed.
3. Player A rolls both dice.
4. Player A forms the ordered pair that shows (e.g. (A, 4)). If there is a
coin on the space, he/she takes it and throws again. If there is no coin
on the space, it is Player B’s turn.
5. Player B rolls both dice.
6. Player B forms the ordered pair that shows (e.g. (C, 1)). If there is a
coin on the space, he/she takes it and throws again. If there is no coin
on the space, it is Player A’s turn.
7. Play alternates back and forth until one player takes his/her sixth coin
from the mat.
8. Both players then count their money.
9. The player with the most money wins. 6

Variations:
• $1.00 wins: Play until one player has 4
removed coins that total $1.00. This
player wins the game. 3
• 10 coins win: Play until one player has
2
removed 10 coins. Players count
money. Player with highest total wins. 1
• Big Money: Add 6 half-dollars and 6
