 Trouble shooting and Reliability improvement of Rotary equipments
 Preparation of Failure Analysis Report for the major failures in rotary
equipment & giving recommendation to avoid the recurrence.
 Assessment of materials requirement and availability for carrying out
maintenance activities. Procurement of materials as per requirement.
Coordination with Purchase group for follow up, clarification and expedition.

 Developing maintenance and engineering procedures and checklist as per ISO


9002-2000.
 Preparation and monitoring of Preventive, Condition Monitoring & lubrication
Schedules as per company’s philosophy, vendors’ recommendation and

 Coordination and communication with Production, and contractors for job
scope preparation, job prioritization.

Job Responsibilities as Maintenance Engineer


 Work request processing and Execution of maintenance activities.
 Supervising all the corrective & Preventive maintenance activities as per weekly
schedule in addition to emergency maintenance activities as per plant
requirement. Hands-on experience on pumps, compressor, agitators, centrifuges
& others.
 Ensuring that all the rules and regulations of Health, safety & Environment
Policy are followed.
 Closing of maintenance work orders including history, actual man-hours spent,
and actual spares consumed etc.
 Preparation of various reports.
 Conditioning monitoring of rotating equipment.
 Preparation of Preventive Maintenance, Condition Monitoring & lubrication
Schedules for rotary equipment.
 Preparation of equipment service sheet for Preventive Maintenance.
 Preparation of Standard Maintenance Procedure (SMP) & Checklist as per ISO-
9000.
 Training of junior engineers and technicians.

Soft Skills:
 Leadership : Ability to lead the team to achieve its desired goals. Organized
Plant picnics for PTA Plant.
 Working in a Team: Adjust myself very well with others. Member of Special
Task Force for PTA Drier.
