With a 24,000 plus RO network and the huge volumes and
assets that we handle, the existing manual system of
analysis and reporting are quite outdated and lead to
unproductive use of time. The field has been demanding
web based tools for improving their productivity, quick
access to data and accurate analysis. As part of a series
of requirements, we have developed a comprehensive
web based Application called Retail Dash Board which
we will call RDB.

Explorer: You must use IE 9 or above or Google Chrome

The user id is your employee id and the password is the


universal password you must be using for accessing your
email etc.

Step 1: Trading Area Management for IOC
ROs.
Select each IOC RO one by one through Dealer Facility Tab.

Enter Name/Sap Code - , select the RO name and please press . Go to


Trading Area Mapping Tab Assign the trading Area and send for approval to
concerned Manager.

In case the trading area is new, create and sent for approval

Ensure you have assigned Markets under all Trading Area whether monopoly
or completive and have covered 100% IOC ROs.

Follow up with concerned DO Manager and get all Addition of ROs/


Trading Area approved.

Step 2 : Addition of OMC. /Pvt Oil Co ROs


First of all create and add all OMC and Pvt Oil Company RO under Dealer
Facility Tab. Select OMC , Press Add New

– Enter Name- Get a system generated Code

Go to Dealer Facility Tab enter the code, select the RO name and please press
. You will get the RO Detail.

You must check the codes generated by accessing CHECK UPLOAD-OMC


details data in MIS .Please maintain a record of all codes since you will be
needing them for uploading monthly OMC sales.

RO Facility for OMC./Pvt Oil Co ROs

Select the RO and update all fields. Also update other Tabs like Highway
Nonfuel etc.

Trading Area Management for OMC./Pvt Oil Co ROs

Assign the trading Area and send for approval to concerned Manager. In case
the trading area is new create and sent for approval. Follow this and add all
OMC/Pvt Oil Company ROs.

Follow up with concerned DO Manager and get all Addition of ROs/


Trading Area approved.

Step 3: Facility Details for IOC RO
Select the RO and update all Tabs

DU Nozzle Mapping

Go to DU Tab. All Dus updated in eCTS will be displayed here . Select the DU
and edit details. We are capturing additional data here. Ensure you have all
Dus captured here. Incase DUs details are not correct you need to visit eCTS
for addition/deletion /editing. A link has been provided in the page itself.

Location

Please update details as regard to Highway ROs like Highway Number and
side

Legacy Sap Codes for IOC RO

Legacy sap code is a concept where we capture the last sap codes for the RO. It
is applicable for capturing sales of COCOs where we change operators as well
as to terminate A site ROs. All Sap codes created under same DRC will be
populated. Please select approving manager and then move the relevant sap
codes.

Tankages for IOC RO

Go to Tankages Tab. All Tanks updated in eCTS will be displayed here.


Correct numbers. Check Dimension for calibration and add if required. Take
Dia /Length from the Dip Chart .Take P1=0 & P2=0 if not mentioned
otherwise. Deadwood for tanks based on our Std. Drgs. are for 15 KL- 16 LTs ,
for 20 KL - 18 LTs and for 70 KL -- 81 LTs. Please update accordingly

Step 4: Uploading Sales of OMC ROs
Sales Sub Module

Go to Sales TAB and update sales of all OMC/Pvt Oil Company ROs preferably
for last 5 years i.e. till 2009. (You may use Bulk Upload facility provided you
have system generated Codes for OMC , However Data should be strictly as
per format and should be only in 5 columns . Sales figures for different month
(YYYYMM) should come below and not by side. OMC Code to be used (BPC:
257 ,HPC:258 ,EOL:518, RIL:519, SHELL: 521)

Update target Sales of IOC Ros (You may use Bulk Upload facility)

Once you have uploaded details for 100% IOC and OMC ROs
please check whether all data has been uploaded correctly
