1. John Smith was the CEO OF Digi Corp and he was warned that he would be
fired by his president. He cudnt believe it! The reason was that the executives
reported that he was unable to create an “effective team environment”, Team
meetings were unproductive, they said. The team was afflicted by interpersonal
conflict. He had taken no measures to resolve the conflict. They called him
untrustworthy as he often said one thing and did another. The team’s morale
motivation and productivity was dropping.
