2. Pupils pair up and complete a worksheet to list the habitat of the

DEVELOPMENT 1. In pairs, pupils complete worksheet 2, which is a cloze text poem.
Pupils fill in blanks in the poem with the correct names of the
animals.
2. A pupil is randomly called out to recite the poem while the rest check
their answers.

1. Pupils are divided into 5 groups.


2. Each group is appointed with 1 stanza.
3. Pupils discuss and come up with simple sentences to describe the
meaning of the respective stanzas.
Diff: LOW – Provide sample meanings to be matched with the correct
stanza
4. Pupils move to different groups to share and learn the meaning of
different stanzas. (1 stay, 4 stray)
