My dream home
Talk together about your dream home. Remember your home is made up of the people in it.
You might like to think about the following questions:
• If you were in your dream home what would you hear?
• If you were in your dream home how would you feel?
• If you were in your dream home what would you see?
You might draw your dream home here.

New start
Interview each other about a time you started something new. It might be a new job, a new
club, going to a new school, making a new friend.
The following questions may help you get started.
• What was your new start?
• Why did you start something new?
• Were you nervous when you had your new start?
• Did you meet any new people? Who were they?
• What helped you to feel good about your new start?
Fact file
Complete these about different members of the family:
Name Age
Gifts or talents Favourite music
Things I hate doing Ways I relax
Things that make me angry Things that make me happy
My favourite place Places I’d like to visit
Favourite clothes Perhaps you could include a Photo or picture
Next week we will have activities for our new SEAL theme of Getting On and Falling Out

Morrison’s Vouchers
We are collecting the Morrison’s Let’s Grow Vouchers again this year. We
collected lots of vouchers last year and purchased many items for our new
garden. This year, as an extra bonus, for every 1000 vouchers we collect we
will receive a free fruit tree! Vouchers should be put in the box by the office.

Dining Hall Rules

As part of our focus on behaviour we have also introduced a set of simple rules for the
dining hall which fit in with our golden rules and playground golden rules. Miss Wilson again
has made and distributed posters to display. You might like remind your children of them at
home too.

• We line up calmly
• We walk carefully through the hall
• We speak quietly to those around us
• We keep our table clean
• We are polite to everyone
• We use good table manners
