Task 3 All

The document describes the weekly planning process for an early childhood classroom. It involves the teacher meeting with their MST (Mentor Student Teacher) on Thursdays to plan the following week's lessons. For math, the plan is to teach numbers 6 through 10. Each day focuses on a different number, and activities include writing numbers, making numbers with objects, and shapes. Students will also do math exercises and have an assessment on Friday. The MST helps plan English lessons as well, focusing on different letters each day and reviewing on Thursdays.

Task 3 - Week 1

What is the planning cycle? The math weekly plan is about taking numbers from 0 to 5

Plan a weekly plan with your MST: it is already planned before with the teacher, but I discuss
with her about what they will take every day during the week.

The teachers meet every Thursday after the students back home for planning to the next
week. All teachers sit together and they divide the subjects for each teacher. For example,
my MST plan for the English weekly plan.

Choose 1 subject and diagram the planning cycle that takes place in your school setting.

The math weekly plan is to give the students number 0 to 5.

The students will learn during the week: how to write numbers from 0 to 5
They will be able to make ways to make 5 for example they make 5 with sand, playdough,
cubes, pattern… etc.

Also, they will be focusing on the shapes such as square.

The students also will be able during the week to do the exercise in the math book and also
at the end of the week they will have an assessment in chapter 1 page 60 on their math book.
Include photographic evidence of the implementation of the activities in your blog. Record
the learning outcome, and reflections.
Reflection week 1

In Sunday I asked my MST about the weekly plan and what she will teach the students
during the week.

She showed me the weekly plan she has already, because every Thursday the teachers meet at
the end of the day and do their next week plan together and what are the activities, lessons,
and the pages in each book for each subject.

I discuss with her about what the lessons she will teach the students and what are the ways she
will teach them every day. For example, for English everyday they take a new letter and they
review all letters in Thursday.

My MST showed me her old lesson plans and show me an example of the weekly plan for her
and explain what she will do every week and every day with the students in that weekly plan.
Task 3 - Week 2

What is the planning cycle? The planning for English language arts for the second week

Plan a weekly plan with your MST:

I planned with my MST the activities we will do for each English period in the week from
Sunday 14 to Thursday 18.

The students will learn during the week the letters: U/ V/ W/ X and Y/Z

Choose 1 subject and diagram the planning cycle that takes place in your school setting.
Weekly theme: pets
In Sunday they will learn letter Uu: using flash cards and do the workbooks.
Monday letter Vv; using flash cards and do the notebook and review word family “an” pan,
ran, man, fan, can.
Tuesday letter Ww; using flashcards and to the notebooks, nouns for animals.
Wednesday letter Xx: flash cards and reader’s notebook
Thursday letter Y and Z: using flash cards and writing names.

Include photographic evidence of the implementation of the activities in your blog. Record
the learning outcome, and reflections.
Reflection week 2

In the second week plan I set with my MST after the students leave school in Wednesday and
we discuss about the next week plan and what she will teach the students next week

the theme was pets so we will teach the students about the animals and what is the different
between the animals and the pets.

Which mean that pets we can keep them with us at home and they are save and we can play
with them.

Also we will teach them the English lesson about some letters that I mention in my task, every
day we will teach them a new letter and in the last day at the week we will review all the letters
we took.

My MST was very kind and helpful and she were very happy that someone is helping her with
planning the weekly plan I helping her with some of the activities we will use.
