Sound K Reflection

The document summarizes an English lesson taught by Amna Alaa to kindergarten students on the sound /k/. The learning outcomes were for students to recognize, demonstrate knowledge of, and distinguish the letter sound /k/ from letter names. While the students enjoyed writing the letter on a kite rather than a whiteboard, some students did not work on the activities until re-instructed. For future lessons, clearer activity instructions will be provided.

SWC Lesson Reflection

The lesson I taught kindergarten 1 students was an English lesson (sound /k/) my

learning outcomes for the lesson was that students will be able recognize sound /k/,

demonstrate knowledge of letter sound and distinguish between letter

names and letter sounds. I think that the students loved the idea when I let them to

write sound /k/ on the kite instead of writing it on the white board because they were

excited and all of they tried to write it on the right way. One aspect didn’t go well; some

of the students were sitting and not working on the activities till I came to show them

again what they have to do. When I will teach next time, I will make sure to give the

students clear instructions about what they have to do in the activities.
