Tryptone 10 g
Yeast extract 5g
NaCl 10 g
Deionised water 1L
Milii Q system
LB-agar For 1L of LB – agar (300mL pour  around 30 plates)
(1.5% agar) LB broth 1L
Agar 15 g
LB glycerol Glycerol stock

Tris-EDTA 10x TE buffer for 1 L


1 M Tris – Cl, pH 8.0 1 mL
0.5 M EDTA, pH 8.0 0.2 mL
Ultrapure Water 98.8 mL

autoclave
70% ethanol Ethanol,

TAE 10x TAE for 1L


Tris base 48.4 g
Glacial acetic acid 11.4 mL (goggle + in fumehood)
EDTA 3.72 g
Milli Q water up to 1 L

agarose in TAE (1%


and 1.5%).

Bleach
autoclaved ultrapure water – ask matt about the milliQ system
purchase water; Need to use for DNA

T3 and T7 primer – plasmid
