The strength of the Lesson:


 The lesson activities were carefully structured and were appropriate to the learners’
levels. An amazing video about compering numbers was prepared and used for the
students as a lesson start and the prior knowledge refreshment!
 Some assessment techniques were in place during Mawada’s teaching.
 Mawada actively asked to compare objects to monitor students’ understanding.
 Mawada provided ongoing feedback to the children to enhance their learning.
 Mawada explained the individual work assessment and was circulating around the
tables checking the students work.
Areas for Development:
 The weakness of the lesson was a teacher's voice: Mawada used high voice almost all
of the teaching time.
 Next time, Mawada needs to use her calm and quiet voice to maintain classroom
behavior.
 Last weakness of the lesson was classroom management. During the group activity,
the classroom behavior was not managed properly.
 Next time, Mawada has to establish and maintain rules and clear routine for the
classroom behavior.
