Educational Philosophy

As a teacher I believe the purpose of education is to provide the next generation of people with
the skills necessary to explore the world in a way that they see fit, and to allow these people to attempt to
advance the world. I also believe that education allows our history as a species to be told from many
different perspectives.

I firmly believe that education is a lifelong process that requires various amounts of time, and
occurs in a variety of ways, but in the end every individual is capable of learning. I believe that as an
educator, it is my job to put every individual in the best position possible to learn, and to make the
lessons taught meaningful and impactful so that they become a permanent change in memory for
students.
