Task 4

This document provides examples of teaching activities that relate to behaviorist and constructivist learning theories. It lists 5 activities observed in class, the learning theory each relates to, and a brief evaluation of student engagement for each. Activities include using blocks to teach place value, using arrays to practice multiplication facts, writing multiplication tables as a "caterpillar", solving word problems by decorating pictures, and using posters to practice division and multiplication facts. Student engagement was evaluated to be high for activities involving hands-on materials, movement, reinforcement, and attractive visuals.
