Happy Holidays! Here’s the
Events scoop on December. 12/3- Clothing and food This month is a busy one! We will be finishing up our fictional 12/7 drive narrative writing, our habitat unit, learning to read a map, learning about picture graphs, and taking our second quarter 12/7 Book orders due word study assessment. To help support your child’s learning, you can ask them what habitats we are learning about and what kind of plants and animals they have. 12/14 Super Hornet Assembly @ 1:00 December is kindness month, so we will be challenging ourselves PM to complete 100 random acts of kindness in each class before we 12/20 Class Holiday party leave for winter break. Check in with your child to see what (see teacher for random acts of kindness they have done, seen, or experienced. details) 12/24- Winter Break With our break coming up, and a busy holiday schedule it can be 1/9 easy to forget about school for two weeks. Please help your child keep up their progress by reading with them for 20 minutes a day and practicing their math facts a few times a week. Even reading street signs, menus, and holiday cards are good practice.
