Peer Observation Number:
Date/Time: 1 of November 2018 Name of Student Teacher to be observed: Adhraa

Setting: Groups of 5 Grade: 4

Topic for the lesson: Types of teeth Name of Observer/Critical Friend:

Maryam Bin Thani

Learning Outcomes:

Students will be able to identify different types of teeth.

PEER OBSERVATION: AREA OF FOCUS (e.g. the student-teacher wants to look at how well she
uses the 5Es or how well she questions)

I want to observe:

- Classroom management
- Lesson Planning
- Time Management
- Setting arrangement
- Activities
- Assessment
- Learning objectives written in board
Observed Strengths: Suggestions for further development:

 Classroom management  Give students more oral feedback

 Creative activities  Try to choose every student in the class
 Clear instructions between each activity  Write learning objectives in the board
 Identify grouping format (Pairs, groups)
 Time management
 Clear voice

Reflection (to be completed after discussion of Peer Review with colleague):

I think that making a peer observation help giving us as a student's teachers more knowledge and experience.

Peer observation could also give us the ability to learn from each other weakness and strengths. Adhraa was

well organized during this lesson and she was ready. She listens carefully to my feedback and she 'd agreed

for most of them, she also asked me questions about her assessment if it matches the lesson or not. The

suggestions that I ask her to focus on use clear voice tune to interact students and try to set a strategy for the

classroom management such as green point, I also ask her to manage her time between each part because the

time was rushing. However, I think that this is a valuable experience because this teaches me how to focus

on things in the classroom I wasn't looking at before such as giving each child the chance to answer to talk

during the lesson.
