Thiagarajar Polytechnic College in Salem, India is hosting a national level technical symposium called Thiagfest 2K13 on January 4th, 2013 in association with professional engineering organizations. Several students from different technical institutions have been selected to present their technical papers on topics of "Water Management & Landscape" and "Green Energy Management". The selected students are instructed to register on the day of the event and give a 7 minute PowerPoint presentation followed by a 5 minute discussion. Cash awards and certificates will be distributed to the students and accommodation will be provided to outstation participants.

 The outstation students are informed to contact the respective Coordinators for hostel accommodation.
 All the students are informed to maintain highest order of discipline
