- We offer access to data and analytics to different investment professionals like analysts,
portfolio managers, and investment bankers in global financial institutions.
- We are in partnership with NASDAQ to maintain a directory of [type of firm] that we
provide to our clients who are institutional investors in the financial community.

- I am employed by FACTSET but we are in partnership with NASDAQ in maintaining these
directories.

If first time to call the firm:


Good [morning/afternoon]! This is GEN from NASDAQ and FACTSET and we’re currently
updating [firm name] in our directory of [type of firm] I’m calling to verify if the people we have
listed are still with your company. Are you the right person to speak with?

If not the right person to speak with:


Ask to be directed to the right person. Ask for the direct number if possible and include it your
notes.

If he/she is the right person to speak with:


Hello! May I know who I’m speaking with? (Once you have the person’s name, address the person
by his/her first name for the rest of your conversation.)
Start your verification.

After you’ve verified all the information that you need to verify:
Are there any other investment professionals in your firm that we’ve missed on our list? Or is there
anything that you want me to take note of?

And by the way, can we make you our primary contact the next time we call your firm in the future
to do the same update?
