Bowles - Soil Spring Constant For Pile (Chapter 16)

The document contains tables of soil spring constants calculated using Bowles' method for bored piles with diameters of 0.8m and 1m embedded to depths of 10m, 15m, and 20m. The soil properties, pile properties, and calculation method are provided. Tables 1-3 show the results for a 0.8m diameter pile and Tables 4-6 show the results for a 1m diameter pile, with soil spring constants (ks), horizontal stiffness (K), constrained modulus (K'), and incremental stiffness (Ki) reported at regular depth intervals down the pile.
