Structure :
* The simple present
* Have got
* How many / how old
Lexical items :
Review of some key words in the module : hello – hi – family members – how many – how old
– enjoy – hobby – pastime – get up – always – never – usually - sometimes
Aids :
Visuals – posters - cards
Procedure :
1/ speaking test: two pupils introducing themselves and speaking about their hobbies (10mn)

2/ ask the pupils some general questions to remind them of the vocabulary in use( 3 mn)

3/ I dictate some words that are key words in this module ( they correct each other). ( 5mn )

4/ this introduces activity 6 page 30 ( pair work / then peer checking ) . ( 6 mn )

5/ then they do activity 7 page 30 individually( 3 mn )

6/ as a speaking activity some pupils will have the opportunity to speak about themselves in a
communicative way ( 7 mn ).

7/the students will write a paragraph about themselves ( activity 89 page 31 )(individual work)
(10 mn)

8/ they exchange their paragraphs to correct spelling mistakes if there are any ( 3 mn )

9/ the last activity is to write a paragraph about their classmates ( 8 mn )
