 Material Verification & Traceability, Fit-up & Visual Welding Inspection as per
approved ITP.
 Monitoring quality of welding for carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, etc,
heat treatment, Non destructive testing – Interpretation of weld radiographs,
witnessing dye penetrant tests and ensuring ultrasonic initial gauging etc.
 Ensure required NDT completed for different line class piping’s.
 Ensuring the welding is carried out as per the approved WPS.
 Specify scope of replacement; provide short-term as well as long term

Drums, Vessels, Furnaces, Lines & fittings, during shutdowns as well

 Specify scope of inspection; provide short-term as well as long term
recommendations regarding repairs & replacements.
 Issue inspection work lists detailing the methods of repair, materials to be used,
fabrication methods, specify welding procedures/NDT methods/heat treatment,
quality control & test procedures.
 Welder Procedure qualification tests.
