My Hometown in Surabaya

Good afternoon Mr.Yadi and good afternoon to all my friends. In this occation I’d
like to explaint about my hometown that is Surabaya.

Surabaya is Metropolitan’s city in East Java, Indonesia. It’s about 2 hours from
Malang, And you can go to Surabaya by train or bus or may be by motorcycle and or car if
you want too. But just information in Surabaya has Juanda airport and Perak harbour, so if
you want go to Surabaya can by plane or by ship. Surabaya is located about in four cities, in
the west of Surabaya there is Sidoarjo, and on the east side of Surabaya is Madura Island, and
then to the north Surabaya near with Gresik, and the last Kediri-Malang in the south of
Surabaya.

I live in Surabaya and I was also born in Surabaya too, Surabaya known as the city of
heroes, why it can be happen? The answer is because there is a history of arek surabaya's
struggle to win independence from the Dutch Indian colonizers

The famous culture in Surabaya is that people are friendly personalties and helpful.
also every discussion there is a “ cuk” affix which means a sign of friendship in speech
conversation.

On the other hand many national figures who was born in Surabaya. Wich is Sutomo
(Bung Tomo),Ir Soekarno ( first president of indonesian) , and achmad dhani.The iconic of
my hometown is hero monument, the hero monument is a symbol of the struggle of arek -
arek surabaya who fought for independence from Hindia Dutch. in honor of their services, a
hero monument is made

The famous food in Surabaya is a spicy flavor and petis as typical wisdom sauce. The
food like cingur rujak, lontong balap, and lontong kupang is delicious taste and spicy flavor
from petis sauce.

The best place for vacation in my hometown, I will give you recommended places in
Surabaya . I’m sure you will love it because it is a beautiful place like Kenjeran beach. In
there you can see sun rise in morning day and sun set in evening day, Surabaya zoo, and
ecotourism mangroves. You can also eat cingur rujak or lontong kupang while enjoy the
beautiful scenery. Don’t forget to take picture in the best place because if you don’t it, I think
you will useless go to there.

It was very nice explaint about my hometown to you, so you have to visit in Surabaya
to know to real culture and conditions in here. I hope you were happy and enjoy it.
