IV. INTRODUCTION
Immersion is done outside the school campus in a “Workplace Immersion Venue,” defined

as “the place where work immersion of students is done. Examples ofwork immersion venues

include offices, factories, shops and project sites.” ... Let us take the first meaning – immersion as

a subject in the curriculum

Work Immersion refers to the subject of the Senior High School Curriculum, which
involves hands-on experience or work simulation in which learners can apply their competencies
and acquired knowledge relevant to their track. Work Immersion Partner Institution
Supervisor serves as the counterpart of the Work Immersion Teacher and may also be the
representative of the partner institution in forging partnership with DepEd schools. This person
shall be identified in the MOA. Work Immersion Teacher is the school personnel who is assigned
to supervise the learners at the Work Immersion Venue in coordination with the Work Immersion
Partner Institution Supervisor. Workplace Immersion Venue is the place where work immersion
is conducted. It shall conform with the law and the rules and regulations on safety, appropriateness
for learning, and availability of facilities and equipment, which are issued by the DepEd (DO No.
40 s. 2015), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Department of
Labor and Employment (DOLE), Commission on Higher Education (CHED), and other relevant
government agencies. Examples of work immersion venues include offices, factories, shops, and
project sites.

Senior High School (SHS) students are now given the chance to enhance their skills in their

respective academic track through the K to 12 Work Immersion Program as a means to develop

competencies and work ethics in preparation for the real world and its challenges.

Having a work immersion makes her knowledgeable and well-learned on performing on her

designated area. She will encounter everything but this is the key to be develop.

Strength

The CPCCONS strength is in their resources and equipments. they have a lots of

resources and complete equipments so they can easily do their jobs faster and well.

Weaknesses

The CPCCONS weaknesses is in their stock materials . They have no substitute

materials to change their primary used materials once it is empty.

Problems Encountered

The problems that we’ve encountered in the 2 weeks of our work in CPCCONS is

the staff of CPCCONS in the office is sometimes not arriving at the exact time in the

CPCCONS office. Additionally, there are a few staff who do jobs in the CPCCONS office

and we observed that there are some working area that are not using. More over , the

materials is inadequate so its difficult to do some task which is no materials given .

Recommendation for the problems

1. The CPCCONS should take policies according to late coming .

2. The CPCCONS should hire Staffs who are willing to work to them.

3. The CPCCONS should have substitute materials or stock for the better.
Summary / Conclusion

We as a OJT student should know the responsibilities of being an OJT Student . It

should need to give our best shot by doing different jobs in order to have a better result

which can develop our knowledge and to increase our learnings in different ways . We as a

immersionist student should wear our Smiles and have motivation in ourselves and show

that we are willing to take that duties and responsibilities . The best thing that we should

put into our minds is that we should take it as an honor and make it with our whole heart

in order to make things wonderful.

This OJT serves as a great help to us because it feeds our minds of knowledge that

we learn new and we learn some strategies and we learn not only normal things but we

learn on how to communicate to others and also to learn how to care to each other.
