Unless specified in the data sheets or referenced project specifications, the
CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for the selection of materials of construction for
the equipment within the gas compressor package. In selection of materials, the
CONTRACTOR shall give special consideration to the environmental conditions and
the project requirements as furnished in “Project Requirements for Purchased
Equipment Specification” (Doc. No. 0909-GS-R-SA-00001).
Supplier shall provide NACE compliance for the complete compressor package.

3.2 Area Classification

Unless otherwise specified and the process fluid being handled does not make package

enclosure.
A noise measurement is required on the completed equipment.
CONTRACTOR shall propose measures taken to reduce noise levels to the target value.
CONTRACTOR shall ensure that any method employed will not restrict access to the
equipment for operation or maintenance. If the noise cannot be limited to 85 dB(A),
CONTRACTOR shall provide warning signs within the package about the noise level.
