Project work– “Changing the process of internal logistics and material management in order to have better

control over raw materials and proper delivery at assembly line.”


FICEP SPA, Gazzada Schianno October 2015 – February 2016
• I approached this problem by mapping the current state of material management and finding proper KPIs to
manage the process.
• The root cause analysis showed two main causes, “improper supplier behavior” and “inefficient management”
in the company’s general warehouse.
• Led my team of 4 members in developing a theoretical frame work taking inventory planning, transport
management and cost optimization into consideration which during test period of implementation resulted in
20 % decrease in throughput time and thus increasing delivery efficiency in the assembly line.
