CONTINGENCY PLAN FOR CALAMITIES

I. SITUATION:

The Municipality of Siniloan is experiencing floods the past couple of


years, most notably the Habagat that lasted more than three months of heavy flooding
which affect low land areas that forced hundreds of families to evacuate from their areas
and cost millions of damages in agriculture.

II. ASSUMPTION:

a. With the past history of typhoons and heavy rains, it is safe to assume
the probability of affecting the Area of Responsibility in the near future;

b. Re-occurrence of flooding in barangays within the municipality;

c. Increase in the demand for the need of evacuation and rescue


operations;

III. MISSION:

d. Siniloan Fire Station in coordination with the Municipal Disaster


Coordinating Council and Local Government Unit and Barangay Officials will take
assistance in the conduct of information dissemination, evacuation and rescue
operations.

e. Inherent functions of Siniloan Fire Station as the need arises.

IV. EXECUTION:

f. Command of Execution will come from the Chairman of the NDRRMC


where upon assessment of barangay officials in the occurrence of any typhoon the
Siniloan BFP in coordination with the concerned Barangay Officials, will then act for the
deployment of fire/dump trucks in the evacuation and rescue operations.

g. Prepare rescue tools and equipments from the LGU must be readily
available at the Command Center. Following rescue tools and equipments are;
i. Handheld Radios
ii. Dump trucks/Trucks
iii. Rescue rope
iv. Life vest
v. Flash light/Fog lights
vi. Bangka

VI. IMPLEMENTATION:

Full implementation of this plan will rely on the Task Group Commander.
Proper coordination through communication is highly encouraged.

CONTINGENCY PLAN FOR THE CAMPAIGN PERIOD OF 2013 ELECTIONS

I. SITUATION:

The Municipality of Siniloan is preparing for a peaceful campaign


period for the upcoming 2013 elections.

II. ASSUMPTION:

a. With a history of diplomatic campaign, the Municipality of Siniloan wants


to maintain its credibility for a clean campaign and elections.

III. MISSION:

b. Siniloan Fire Station in coordination with the Siniloan PNP,Local


Government Unit , Barangay Officials, and volunteers will take assistance in the conduct
of non-violent campaign.

c. Inherent functions of Siniloan Fire Station as the need arise.

IV. EXECUTION:

d. Command of Execution will come from the Municipality of Siniloan


where upon assessment of barangay officials in the occurrence of any violent rallies and
protest, the Siniloan BFP in coordination with the concerned Officials, will then act for
the deployment of fire trucks for and personnel in the operations.

V. IMPLEMENTATION:

Full implementation of this plan will rely on the Task Group Commander.
Proper coordination through communication is highly encouraged.

CONTINGENCY PLAN FOR 2013 FIRE PREVENTION MONTH ACTIVITIES

I. SITUATION:

As part of BFP R4-A’s annual Fire Prevention Month, the Siniloan Fire
Station will be conducting a series of activities during the whole month of March. The
plans and schedules were as follows:

a. March 1, 2013 8:00 am – Siniloan Fire Station will be hosting a


Motorcade together with Mabitac Fire Station, Famy Fire Station and Fire Prevention
Officer of Pangil, Laguna.

b. March 4, 2013 – Fire Prevention Month Kick-Off at Sta. Cruz, Laguna

c. Month-long fire prevention activities for Ugnayan sa Barangay, school


visitation, and fire drills.

II. ASSUMPTION:

d. With a history of increasing fire incidents during the month of March


in the entire country, it is easy to assume that there will be such case in the Area Of
Responsibility.

e. Occurrence of fire incidents within the municipality;

f. Increase in the demand for the need of operations.

g. fire prevention activities and awareness will help to lessen fire


incidents.

III. MISSION:

h. Siniloan Fire Station in coordination with the Local Government Unit


and Barangay Officials will take assistance in the conduct of fire prevention awareness,
information dissemination, and rescue operations.

i. Inherent functions of Siniloan Fire Station as the need arise.

IV. EXECUTION AND IMPLEMENTATION


j. The said Activities will be headed and guided by the Officer-in-Charge
of Siniloan Fire Station

k. In case of fire related incidents, the Siniloan BFP, will then act for the
deployment of fire trucks immediately
