bit more efficiently as there is less to read.
Walkthrough
Prologue Chapter
Grancel Castle / Rolent
Talk to the staff members to get a recipe book and to craft some quartz
Buy the healing food items (in SC, you only learn a recipe once you've eaten it)
Recommend buying HP1 and Evade1 quartz (for healing -- HP + Evade + Luck quartz will give
you La Teara area healing magic), and Attack1 and Defense1 quartz due to monsters' elemental
weakness in this chapter
As an aside, playing SC with a completed FC savegame affects the game in minor ways. As
shown above, you start with additional bonus items, but you also get to carry over your level (see
below) and some dialogue changes depending on the quests you completed in FC
35 or lower 35
36 - 40 Same level
41 or above 41
Choose to fight the first monster to learn about the battle mechanics in SC. Chain Crafts don't
seem like much right now, but can be useful later in the game
If you ever get low on HP, remember you can always head back and use the restoration device
near the entrance
At the end of the sewers, you will meet Kurz who throws you into the first boss battle
Boss Battle
Kurt
Essentials:
HP 3750
EXP ?
Elemental Weakness:
Earth 100%
Water 100%
Fire 100%
Wind 100%
This is an annoying boss battle as his regular attacks has a pushback effect. Kurz's specialty is
his Illusionary Arts, which he starts using after his HP has dropped under a certain point to heal
and boost defense
Since attack magic has no distance limit, feel free to hit him with spells
Feel free to use your abilities, but try not to use your S-Crafts and try to keep your CP at or close
to 200 for an upcoming forced battle
After you defeat him, Kurz drops the Heaven Eye quartz. This combines the Eagle Vision and
Information quartz, so you can see enemies from afar and see better enemy information in battle
Guild Lodge
Essentials:
HP 4058
EXP 61
Sepith: Earth 6, Water 6, Fire 6, Wind 6, Time 1, Space 1, Mirage 1
Elemental Weakness:
Earth 100%
Water 100%
Fire 100%
Wind 100%
Don't let your HP get too low, as the enemy can do quite a bit of damage. But other than that,
doing regular attacks should be enough to win. Do note that the enemy is able to inflict blind.
Saint Croix Forest
Essentials:
HP 3455
EXP 38
Sepith: Earth 1, Water 1, Fire 8, Wind 1, Time 1, Space 1, Mirage 8
Elemental Weakness:
Earth 100%
Water 100%
Fire 100%
Wind 100%
This is almost as bad as the first boss battle with Kurz, as this boss is equipped with a gun and
can attack you from range
She is also able to disrupt your spell casting. Despite this, you should still have one spell caster
(Estelle) and one physical attacker (Anelace). Every time she disrupts the spellcaster, it means
your attacker can survive longer
When the boss is down to halfway or about 2000HP, feel free to unleash your 200CP S-Craft
attacks
Guild Lodge
Now you know why the Bracer Guild paid you so little back in FC, they spent all their money
mocking up a fortress!
On the first floor, after you open the first gate, you'll see a second gate. Remember to go to the
room on the right side of the hallway first to turn on the power (the computer monitor says
POW-OFF). Then the gate control on the left room will work (if you try to open the gate without
power, Estelle will remark that nothing happened)
Caution: after you open the second gate and make a left, there is a forced battle with 2 rabbits
and 2 beetles
The second floor features a dark room. Hug the right side to enter a room with night vision
goggles. You need to equip it for it to be useful (feel free to take it off after you exit the dark
room)
At the stairs at the end of the third floor, remember to open the treasure chest for the ID
Component. When you reach the computer terminal in the fourth floor, you need to go to the
Item menu, choose the ID component, and then "use" it. There is a healing point, which only
means one thing ...
Boss Preparation
This is going to be a hard battle. What I did was make Anelace focus on melee attacks with
Estelle being an attacker/support caster role. This the quartz I equipped on Estelle:
Heaven Eye
Line 1 - Attack1, Cast1, Luck
Line 2 - HP1, Spirit1, Evade1
Line 2 is the key as it allows Estelle to heal (and heal together if Anelace is close by). Line 1 +
Heaven Eye allows Estelle to cast Forte to boost Anelace's ATK without wasting CP
Essentials:
HP 8330
EXP 38
Sepith: Earth 10 Space 10
Elemental Weakness:
Earth 100%
Water 100%
Fire 100%
Wind 100%
This battle is worse than the first one with Kurz.
Not only does he have the same knockback effect as Kurz, he also has two abilities that is more
painful than his regular attacks (both do over 1000 damage).
If you're too far away from the boss, he'll occasionally get fed up and cast å¹»è¡ãä¹é¢¨ç ´æµª.
This is basically the same as Shadow Spear, although I'm not sure about the 20% instant-KO
effect. And I'm sure you don't want to find out, so don't stray too far away from the boss and that
will prevent him from casting it.
His other second powerful attack is äºæé¨çªæ, which is similar to Anelace's 8-Leaf Blitz, but with
lots of spear thrusts. Pray that he doesn't use this with a septium AT bonus.
He will occasionally cast å¹»è¡ãå¹³æ¥åé² which has a +STR, +SPD effect, but otherwise, he is
just one of the bosses you have to grind through. Note that when his HP gets low, he will start
healing himself. At this point, you should have Estelle and Anelace both attack him and then
immediately follow up with their S-Craft attacks.
Advice: You can start off the fight with Estelle casting Morale and having her and Anelace hit
the boss as much as possible before the effect wears off. By this point, you might be needing
healing. I typically have Estelle stay a bit farther away (but not too far) so both the boss and
Anelace focus their attacks on each other. Estelle should then cast spells every turn, either
healing, Forte, or some attack spell.

Chapter 1
Grancel
Choose your partner. It doesn't affect the plot since you're heading to Ruan anyways. If you pick
Scherazard, you get a bit additional dialogue in Chapter 2. If this is your first time playing SC
or if you want to play SC totally easymode, I recommend picking Agate for increased damage
and his Seal quartz
Here is the starting stats table for Scherazard and Agate in my game:
Attribute Agate Scherazard
Level 42 42
HP 2932 2677
EP 75 130
ADF 45 14
SPD 18 18
DEX 19 19

MOV 6 6
RNG 1 3
Grancel Airport
Enter the airship building. Pick up your ticket from the employee on the right. The employee on
the left sells Liberl Times #2.
Exit the building and talk to the attendant in the circular booth to board the airship
Onboard, talk to everyone, including the worker at the bottom-most cargo floor.

The Raven Gang members start off waaaaay back in the battlefield. If it's your turn before theirs,
don't bother moving up (let them move to you) so you can get hit one fewer time (instead,
consider using Estelle's Morale craft, using Agate's Bull Roar craft to refill CP, or having
Scherazard cast some buff spell).
The bosses will occasionally "shout" to each other which will either give a stat buff, do minor
healing, or resurrect. A good strategy then, is to spread out your attacks so that they don't
resurrect and heal each other.
The bosses also have two other crafts. One, 任人宰å², will either lower your DEF or cause
Seal on your character. The other, rarely used, is è人ä¸æ, which will do quite a bit of damage
(over 800).
If you chose Agate, this battle will be much simpler. Always have him use regular physical
attacks so that you can take advantage of his Seal quartz to randomly seal the enemy. Do note
that the Seal effect does wear off (but it typically lasts quite a while, and the other Raven gang
members aren't able to cure it).
Enter the White Wood Pavilion (ç½ä¹æ¨é£äº) inn and go upstairs. Enter the room in front (not
beside) the stairs and talk to the man
Our goal is to collect ingredients that are not on the list, which are: Monster Tooth, Monster Bird
Meat, Monster Roe, Monster Bird Egg, Monster Horn, Monster Bone.
Collect these ingredients as you fight monsters during this chapter (there is no rush)
A minimum of 3 ingredients is necessary to complete the sidequest, but getting all 6 gets you a
bonus
Ingredients:
Monster Tooth
Wild Boar (Vista Forest Road, Aurion Road), Rage Spider (Underground Ruins)
Monster Bird Meat
Dodo Bird (Vista Forest Road, Aurion Road), Ball Bat (Underground Ruins)

This monster is located at the beach in the second map of the Gull Seaway (map right after the
path to Mercia Orphanage). Before climbing up the stairs, go north a bit.
Super Alloy Sword Monster x3

Elemental Weakness:

These monsters have an ability that buffs the others on death, so the strategy is to spread out the
damage. They can do quite a bit of damage, so it's recommended to fight them with Kevin in
your party (although I have also done this without him). Fire magic seems to be quite effective
too.
After defeating the monster, enter the path that it was blocking for a treasure chest with a decent
pair of shoes
