600RT adopts HFC134a 380V voltage water-cooled centrifugal chiller with total heat recovery.

Unit Features
Two-stage centrifugal compressor
According to the three-dimensional flow theory and the efficiency of HFC134a
under full load and part load condition to optimize the two-stage centrifugal
compressors. It can obtain the excellent operation performance, and also reduce
the unit operation surge point effectively.
Backward sealed impeller: perfect fluid dynamics model, precisely cast by
aluminum alloy.
Rigid ball bearing: realizes the demand on frequent start-stop.
Semi-hermetic motor: cooled by liquid refrigerant, drop the motor’s running

Evaporator
Evaporator is modified to enhance the heat transfer effect, improve system
evaporation temperature, increase unit cooling capacity and improve the efficiency
Liquid refrigerant
of the unit operation. Special technology of spray type internal structure design and
reasonable evaporation space can reduce evaporation resistance. Refrigerant liquid
can complete recycle without additional power by using the refrigerant flow control
circulating pump. The tube cluster in evaporator can fully infiltrated and improve
the heat transfer performance effectively even units are running without precisely
adjusting.

The condenser is modified to make unit’s condensing temperature lower than the
general units and improve the unit efficiency through adopting the shell-and-tube
heat exchanger, and the strengthen pipe with low thread on the internal and external
surface, as well as the unique internal structure.

Economizer

Economizer, oil cooler and oil return heat exchanger


Steam for oil return
The application of economizer, oil cooler and oil return heat exchanger triad technique
(Jet pump power)

Multiple selections for startup mode


KMC unit can be configured with medium/high voltage starter, meeting the energy-saving
operation need for 6 kV / 6.6 kV / 10 kV power supply voltage. Medium/high voltage starter
install the high voltage load switch with shunt release, high-rupturing high-voltage fuse and
surge arrester to guarantee the safety of high voltage motor’s startup and operation.
Function of high-voltage load switch with shunt release:
1. Provide protection when motor short circuit or overload.
2. Protect the motor effectively.
3. Protect the personal safety and equipment from damage if there is obvious breaking point in
the maintenance.

Computerized Control
Microcomputer controller
Climaveneta centrifugal chiller is equipped with advanced
microcomputer controller and adopting the double CPU core
components to ensure the safe and stable operation of the unit.

Man-machine interface
Touch screen have its own storage space and a higher reaction rate so that user
can control the unit’s complete operation in a real time. User can make a choice
between Chinese and English language through intuitional operation interface,
just clicking on the picture to operate and set units.

PID control function


Microcomputer controller adopt advanced PID control function, adjust the unit load automatically according to the water temperature
of chilled water and the target temperature of the whole value, resulting in the water temperature meet demand in the shortest time
and steady the target temperature within ± 0.2℃.

Unit protection function


Protect unit's power supply by the overvoltage, under voltage, three-phase imbalance and phase failure protection, as many as 30
protection function for unit.

Multiple anti-surge functions


Advanced multiple anti-surge functions for unit. Through a combination of prevention, control and warning to meet the cooling
capacity in the safe operation range.
■ Prevention - Calculating the surge curve accurately, unit can adjust state automatically when the unit operation approximates the
surge curve.
■ Control – Adjust the running state in time when the unit appears surge resulting in
controlling the surge occurring effectively.
■ Warning - If unit keep surge for a period of time, it will warn users and carry out the stop action.

Reserve the contact for user


Internet
■ Reserve the control point of cooling tower fan, cooling water pump and cooled water
pump for user to make the fan and water pump controlled by the unit, optimizing the Expansion
MODBUS module
user's system.
Host computer
■ Unit reserves alarm output point to display remote alarm.
■ Reserve a central control connection (Modbus - RTU communication protocol) to make
the unit connection to building control system seamlessly.

380V centrifugal chiller engineering wiring diagram:

Low-voltage wiring illustration:


■ Line① is the power line (three-phase with zero line, ground wire) from customer power distribution cabinet to chiller's power
supply cabinet. Power supply specification is 380 v, 3N -50Hz. Power line enter from the top of power cabinet, wire diameter
requirements adjust with unit power.
■ Line② is the power line from the power cabinet to the centrifugal unit main motor(Y delta start or soft start, 6 power line, with
earth wire). Power line let out from the top of cabinet, wire diameter is determined by unit's power.
■ Line③ is the power line from the power cabinet to the centrifugal unit oil pump control cabinet (three phase), wire diameter
requirement is 2.5mm2 or larger.
■ Line④ is the signal line from the power cabinet to the centrifugal unit master control cabinet, wire diameter requirement is
1.0mm2 or larger.
■ Line⑤ is the signal line from the centrifugal unit master control cabinet to water pump control cabinet and remote switch
machine, wire diameter requirement is 1.0mm2 or larger.

Note:
Water pump control cabinet is provided by customers.
Power line and control line need to be controlled separately and can not be set in the same slot.
Customer should supply all the line above.

■ Line① is the power line from customer high-voltage power distribution cabinet to chiller's power supply cabinet.
Power supply specification is 380V, 3N- 50Hz .Power supply cord enters from the upper end of cabinet, wire
diameter is determined by unit's power.
■ Line② is the power line from the cabinet to the centrifugal unit main motor(Y delta start or soft start, 6 power line,
with earth wire). Power line outlet from the upper end of cabinet, wire diameter is determined by unit's power.
■ Line③ is the power line from the customer to the centrifugal unit control cabinet (three phase , ground wire), wire
diameter requirement is 2.5mm2 or larger. Power supply specification is 380V, 3N- 50Hz. Customers provide this
power supply additionally.
■ Line④ is the signal line from the cabinet to the centrifugal unit master control cabinet, wire diameter requirement is
1.0mm2 or larger.
■ Line⑤ is the signal line from the centrifugal unit master control cabinet to water pump control cabinet and remote
switch machine, wire diameter requirement is 1.0mm2 or larger.

Note:
Water pump control cabinet is provided by customers.
Power line and control line need to be controlled separately and not allowed set in the same slot.
Customer should provide all the line above.

Product Installation

Unit lifting drawing:

■ Water-cooled chiller should avoid closing to the fire and flammable.


■ It is better to choose the space where the room temperature is under 45℃ and the ventilation is good (because of high
temperature is the cause of failure and speeds up the corrosion). Relative humidity should be under 90% when environment is
45℃ , and not allowed installed and storage outdoor or open air.
■ Choose the place of less dust (Dust is one of the main reason for the electrical failure).
■ Field should be of good daylighting in order to maintenance and inspection.
■ There shall be a good drainage system around the unit and the entire room.
■ Unit use steel tube to connect the safety valve port to the outside is recommended.
■ In order to ensure safety and health of staff, installing oxygen detector in the room is recommended. Alert when oxygen is
being part consumed or displaced that oxygen content is less than 19.5%.
■ Spring damping device as optional, please consult local CLIMAVENETA office.
