Consol Super Set

Consol Super Set is a concentrated solution that accelerates setting, improves plasticity, and reduces shrinkage in Portland cement. It produces quick-setting, low-shrinkage mortar for concrete patching and sealing leaks. When added to cement and water, Consol Super Set decreases setting time and increases early strength and compressive strength. It is used for dry pack mortar and plugging cracks by mixing with cement and water on site.

CONSOL SUPER SET

DESCRIPTION A Concentrated solution of accelerating, plasticizing, and shrinkage-reducing agents, which


is added to Portland cement to produce quick setting mortar.

FIELDS OF To produce quick setting, low shrinkage, high strength concrete patches. It can be used for
APPLICATION sealing leakages and for plugging water infiltrations in concrete.

DOSAGE Added to the mixing water within the range 1:0 – 1:5

INSTRUCTION FOR Preparation of Concrete Surfaces:


USE Chip away deteriorated, unsound substrate, Clean cavity completely.

Mixing
SUPERSET is to be used with fresh Portland cement.
Actual initial and final setting time will vary with different brands of cement and job
conditions, test with small quantities of cement to be used should be conducted on job site
to determine proper dilution ratio for the desired setting time.

Application

As Waterplug
Plug cement paste into crack or hole. Hold in place with hard, until it has hardened.

As Dry Pack Mortar


Used for patching concrete structures.
Dry pack mortar is made with 1 part OPC + 2 sand + Consol Superset diluted with 2 to 5
part water, depending on setting time desired.

HANDLING  Avoid contact with skin and eyes
PRECAUTIONS  Wear protective glove and eye protection during work
 If skin contact occurs, wash skin thoroughly.
 If in eyes, hold eyes open, flood with warm water and seek medical attention without
delay
