What is your philosophical position?
What is your research approach? What is your research purpose, strategy and time horizon? What are the key questions or hypothesis originating from your literature review? What kind of data do you need to answer your research questions – test your hypothesis? What are the advantages – disadvantages of the type of data you examine? What are the chosen methods you selected to answer your research questions – test your thesis hypothesis? What are the key variables or measures of your study? What are the advantages – disadvantages of your chosen methods? Why have you chosen those specific methods? Have you justified the questions that you plan to ask to your participants – respondents? Why are you asking those specific questions? Which sampling technique do you use to select your participants – respondents? Where and when are the data collected? Is this chapter specific enough to allow a potential reader to replicate your investigation? How valid, reliable and generalisable is your study? Do you forecast any problem in the data collection stage? How will you analyse the collected data? Do the analysed data enable you to answer your research questions or to test your hypothesis? Is your chosen methodology used in the literature you have reviewed? If not, why are you using it? If yes, what is new about your study? What are the limitations of your study? Are there any ethical considerations you believe may affect your research?
