Understand few verbs related to money ELEMENTS: OBJECTIVES 2. Use verbs related to money in their writing correctly. Language SUCCESS Students will be able to write 5 sentences using verbs related to money CRITERIA with minor error by referring to the text. LEARNING ACTIVITIES DOMAIN : Apply 1) Teacher writes spend money on the board and asks students to work in pairs and discuss the 3 things they spend most money on. ASSESSMENT: PRE-LESSON 2) Teacher listens to their ideas as a class by asking them to report back on Written Exercise what their partner said. MULTIPLE 1) Teacher plays the audio. Pupils listen and repeat the words on the word INTELLIGENCE pool. Teacher makes sure they pronounce the words correctly especially S (21ST earn. CENTURY 2) Teacher checks pupils understand all the words by asking them to LEARNING) : translate them into their language. Verbal-Linguistic LESSON 3) Pupils work individually and fill the gaps in the text for Exercise 2 using DEVELOPMENT the words from exercise 1. They answer the question. Pupils compare TEACHING & answers in pairs and then check answers as a class. LEARNING 4) Pupils read the questions in Exercise 4 carefully first. They work STRATEGIES : individually and think about their answers. Pupils are chosen randomly and Pupil-centredness teacher listens to their ideas as a class.
1) Pupils construct 5 sentences using any verbs related to money in the
POST-LESSON word pool in pairs in their exercise book. 2) Teacher recapitulates today’s lesson.
