Descriptive Writing Rubric

This rubric evaluates descriptive writing based on four categories: sentence structure, sources, grammar and spelling, and conclusion. For each category, criteria are provided to assess writing as expert, competent, novice, or needs development. For example, in the sentence structure category, expert writing contains varied sentence structures while needs development writing lacks structure or is rambling.
