Biographical Rubric

The biographical narrative rubric assesses student biographies on ideas, organization, presentation, voice, word choice, sentence fluency, and conventions. It provides criteria for advanced (4), proficient (3), needs improvement (2), and not yet (1) in each category. For a score of 4, the biography would include early life, significant events, contributions, and character traits of the person as well as be carefully organized with varied transitions and properly formatted.
