BE with experience/specialization in GoLang

Rokk3r Labs is a venture builder and the world’s first ‘building’ platform for entrepreneurs,
corporations and investors to create exponential startups.

We’re looking for ​Senior Back End ​Developers on GoLang to help build modular, robust,
secure and scalable applications. As a Senior Back End of our team, you will be developing
some of the back end technology and best practices that power our awesome products.

Responsibilities 

● Successful candidates will be strong backend developers with experience shipping the
most efficient server-side logic that deliver data from the server to the users, working
with latest technologies and engineering features for security, scalability, and high
availability.
● Participate in all phases of our software development life cycle to convert concepts and
specifications into real world apps.
● Lead a small in-house and satellite teams of developers, defining architecture and
developing solutions to the most challenging problems in server-side apps.
● Write quality, maintainable, reusable code with extensive test coverage.
● Know how to use various open source frameworks and platforms to save time and
resources needed for any development project
● Working with the front end team to deliver high-performance and good quality
applications

Qualifications 
● Required:
○ Proficient knowledge of Golang and REVEL framework
○ Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
○ Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
○ 2-3+ years in industry as a Back End Developer with a proven track record for
shipping user facing applications.
○ Ability to ship software quickly and frequently
○ Ability to write maintainable code with extensive test coverage and work in a
professional software engineering environment (with source control, dev / stage /
prod release cycle, continuous deployment).
○ Expertise developing and testing across multiple browsers, platforms, etc.
○ Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.
○ Passionate. Persistent. Creative.
● Desired but optional:
○ Implementation of security and data protection.
○ Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability.
○ Design and implementation of data storage solutions.
○ Proven ability to work on teams using Agile tools for tracking progress, issues,
etc.
○ Understanding accessibility and security compliance.
○ User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and
environments.
○ Management of hosting environment, including database administration and
scaling an application to support load changes.
○ Proficient knowledge of main RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL
database engines (MongoDB, CouchDB, ElasticSearch, Redis)
○ Understanding of “session management” in a distributed server environment.
