Design Journal Marking Guide

The digital logbook for ENGG1000 is hosted on Microsoft OneNote. Students should have received an invite to their class OneNote where their personal logbook space can be found. Entries are added by right clicking and selecting "new page". The logbook should be formatted with the student's zID and team number on the first page. Subsequent pages should be titled "Week X". Entries will be marked based on including regular meeting minutes and individual work reports, as well as clear sketches.

ENGG1000 Digital Logbook Access & Marking Scheme

The purpose of the logbook for ENGG1000 is to keep a record of your individual work. In the past logbooks
were handwritten but to reflect modern practice and hopefully make entries easier for students we have
moved to Microsoft’s Class OneNote platform.

Logbook Access
You should have received an invite via your UNSW email to your class OneNote. If not contact
your demonstrator.

On opening the link you should be redirected to your class OneNote which should show your
personal logbook space (The tab with your name). You can ignore the collaboration space and
content library for the duration of ENGG1000 unless directed otherwise by your demonstrator.

To add pages (entries) simply right click on the right column (Where “untitled page” is in the
image below) and click “new page”.

You can also click on existing pages to delete and move them.
