Job Description: Manages the consistent delivery of HR processes and services to all
employees. In addition, the HR Manager helps to develop and implement the John Clement’s
human resource strategy by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and
resource resources policies, programs and practices.
Job Duties:
Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all
positions. (Periodic)
Maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting and interviewing program,
counseling managers on candidate selection, conducting and analyzing exit interviews, and
recommending changes. (Daily)
Monitors job vacancies to ensure that open positions are advertised consistently, both
externally and internally. (Daily)
Responsible for compensation policies and procedures, including writing job descriptions
and employee performance evaluations, and adherence to compensation strategy. (Periodic)
Provides coaching and advice to managers regarding employee relations matters, including
performance improvement, disciplinary action, and termination. (Occasional)
Maintains confidentiality and applies consistency and fairness to the appropriate handling of
issues and policy enforcement. (Daily)
Conducts independent investigations on key employee concerns, including workplace and
sexual harassment, discrimination, and wage/hour claims. (Occasional)
Studies and assesses benefit needs and trends, recommends benefit programs to
management, directs the processing of benefit claims, obtains and evaluates benefit contract
bids, awards benefit contracts, and designs and conducts educational programs. (Periodic)
Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource
federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, and
representing at hearings. (Periodic)
Reviews exposure to FLSA, OSHA, EEO, and other requirements affecting human resources
matters and prepares information requested or required for compliance. Serves as primary
contact and liaison with labor counsel and outside government/regulatory agencies. (Daily)
Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human
resources policies and procedures. (Periodic)
Maintains historical human resources records by designing a filing and retrieval system and
keeping past and current records. (Daily)
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops,
reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in
professional societies. (Occasional)
Reviews and manages worker's compensation and unemployment processes. Prepares
information requested or required by both state and federal government/regulatory
agencies. (Daily)

of daily work plans that effectively and efficiently use resources with emphasis on safety, customer

operating systems to support data integrity.

Provide clerical and administrative support to the daily operations and activities of the entire
HR department across multiple offices.
Manage recruitment efforts by maintaining and updating the recruitment log and the
recruitment applicant tracking system.
Coordinate with management on all recruitment activities by posting jobs, sourcing/
screening candidates, and scheduling onsite and offsite interviews in an efficient and timely
manner.
Assist in conducting background verifications for prospective new employees, as well as
verifying eligibility and employment authorization for new hires.
Prepare new hire packages, onboard new employees and ensure all new hire forms are
provided, properly completed, scanned, filed and retained.
Assist manager with administration of company benefits and enrollment as needed.
