THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS WILL BE ATTACHED WITH THIS FORM, IF THE


DOCUMENTS ARE NOT ATTACHED, THE APPLICATION CAN NOT BE ACCEPTED.
1. An application on fullscap plain paper addressed to the Capital City Police Officer,
Karachi in which you write, where are you going abroad and purpose of obtaining
character certificate, MENTIONING IN THAT EACH AND EVERY PLACE OF
RESIDENCE WITH PERIOD AT ANY ADDRESS WITH POLICE STATIONS IN
CITY (FOR A PERIOD MORE THAN 6-MONTHS) SINCE BIRTH.
2. Three (3) Fresh Passport Size Photographs resembling your face. Attested by any Class-I
Officer posted at City (on the backside of photograph).
3. One Photostat copy of New (NADRA) National Identity Card Attested by any Class-I
Officer Posted at City.
4. Photostat copies of Passport (Page 1 to 5) Attested by any Class-I Officer Posted at City.
5. Photostat copy of Consulate/Concerned Embassy letter issued by, consulate Office in
which they have asked you for Police Character Certificate, will also be attested by any
Class-I Officer Posted at City.
6. Govt:/Semi Govt; Employees should apply alongwith NOC obtained from their Head of
Department.
7. Staff Nurses/ Dispensers should apply alongwith NOC obtained from Govt: of Pakistan
Ministry of Health & Social Welfare Div: Islamabad.
8. The person who is already abroad should apply through Pakistan Mission/ Embassy
abroad for obtaining character Certificate.

NOTE: THE CHARACTER CERTIFICATE WILL BE ISSUED ONLY ON THE


PRESENTATION OF ORIGINAL PASSPORT (VALID FOR MORE THAN
6- MONTHS) AND NEW (NADRA) NATIONAL IDENTITY CARD BY
APPLICANT AT THE TIME OF APPEARANCE BEFORE THE ISSUING
AUTHORITY
