Few Tips:: Resources
Few Tips:: Resources
I will keep this tutorial short (and simple so any newbie can use it easily) and not give you
the long version of what is for what, how to use it. I will only mention where to find it. Lots of
the things are explained in the game. Just click on question marks, pluses, minuses, quills. Just
click stuff and read information.
Also have in mind that I haven’t unlocked everting yet and some things I am unsure of. If so I
will mention that I am not 100% or it is not confirmed.
Few tips:
-FIRST RULE OF ONLINE GAMES: Click everything red, flashing, sparkling, pluses
or arrows.
-Always check your inventory for diamonds
-Log in daily to grab the goods
-If you can buy black diamonds to speed things up a little go ahead. If you can’t
it is fine, this game is quite generous (so far) and you can have decent gameplay
without buying anything.
Game basics:
Resources :
1.Goods: gold (dragons? Yeah i don’t get it either), wood, grain, iron, stone
Where to find: Build buildings in your castle, use instants from inventory, send troops to
mines/farms/lumbermils on the map, events...almost everywhere. The game is very generous with
these, basically you don’t have to worry about it in your first weeks at all.
2.Specials:
Blue diamonds. Where to find: quests, Wierwood, events, rally chests, raid leaders (horses on map),
diamond mines, alliance presents, also again basically almost everywhere. But don’t throw them
around. Most people use them to buy special chests in events, upgrade VIP level. I mostly used them on
1 day speed ups and chests from VIP and Ayra. If you intend to get those form Ayra make sure you do it
before 7 days expire because the event ends and her face disappears because she is faceless.
Black diamonds. Where to find: Buy
Alliance coins. Where to find: by doing alliance help and alliance quest. Use them in alliance shop. Lots
of variety.
City buildings:
There are plenty city buildings and most of them are self-explanatory. Upgrade them as you go, but
focus on meister tower, castle, wall (start building towers traps and spikes as soon as you can),
warehouse (don’t worry about it at first, because the game dictates the pace and you can’t choose
much) and when you get to: barracks, garrison, embassy. If you are unsure what they are used for click
on the question marks in the top left corner.
Building and Research:
These two are MOST IMPORTANT for fast progress. There are several ways to reduce the times:
-Talents of your lord
-Meister tower, by: 1. upgrading the tower 2.researching building mastery in it
-Equipment for the lord
-Hastens. Where to find: Quests, daily activity ,weirwood, alliance shop, VIP chests, buy with diamonds.
Lots of places actually.
NOTE: In my opinion, it is waste of time to start 3-4 days research/building if you are able to upgrade
your meister tower and your building mastery isn’t locked. Unless you are cornered, don’t do stuff that
take 2+ days. If you have building mastery available for research or you can upgrade your meister tower
do them ASAP even if they take long.
TIP: For longer researches/builds swap lord equipment that boost whatever you are about to start.
Lord Talents:
Click on the lord and open the talents tab. Max out research and construction. Then drop
points on: army health, army defense, archers attack and some in training speed. The rest is
more/less the same. Don’t bother on wasting points on production unless you must in order to
unlock later tiers. Also, if you have, for example unlocked Archer attack 1 and 2 focus on maxing
one of those because the higher the level the higher the boost. Once you fill one of them, start
putting points in second one.
Equipment:
There are TWO types of equipment:
1. For the lord (the image of your main character and name of your account)
Where to find: Craft in blacksmith. Obtain materials by: sending army in mines/lumbermils/farms (but
not gold mines- they don’t drop anything), attacking raid leaders (horses on map), buying chests in
either alliance or diamonds stores via your inventory or for black diamonds on offers.
There are also levels for upgrading the equipment and slots to forge banners into items for extra boost.
Banners can be found in the store in the chests or special offers that cost black diamonds.
2. For your Commanders. They are used for promoting them. Find items in weirwood.
VIP:
The higher the better but not essential. Grow it slowly by logging in each day, buy some directly from
the VIP bar or from special offers. VIP points can be obtained free by attacking or killing raider leaders,
some quests and weirwood (probably somewhere else too, but can’t remember for certain)
To access VIP bar click on the purple circle next to your power ranking points.
Some of vip special chests ( that cost from 299 to 2999 diamonds) are really worth the money especially
for the stacks of hastens.
Quests
Main and story quests: Start and keep doing them as much as you can. Great rewards and also
they are kind of tutorial.
Alliance quests are 2 minutes short quests that give alliance coins, lord exp and some resource.
Find them in the quest story tab.
Wierwood (the pink tree in your castle. Not really a quest but I will put it here. This game is a
Frankenstein lol): do as many as you can and go as far as you can. Work on getting all stars on the map
even if it means going back and redoing some quests. Once you get certain amount of stars you get
chests right under the quests. There are 3 chests. Third one is won by passing all leve ls with 3 stars.
Once you pass the first page click on elite (upper left corner) and do those quests for cool stuff AND
medals for commanders. You can get: equipment for promoting your commanders, diamonds, medals,
resources, hastens...
Ayra’s quests (event). That is limited time event that lasts for 7 days. You can get Ayra and upgrade her
to blue just by doing them.
Daily activity quests: Doing them will you get mostly hastens, commander food and heal troops hastens.
Some others stuff too from the progression chests.
Sparkling chest: You can open one each 5-30 maybe more minutes, but it is mostly resources and
hastens.
Army/ Battles
Commanders:
You can get them by: unlocking them by doing quests, gathering medals in Elite weirwood, buying
medals with black diamonds.
To upgrade the commanders and increase their stats and skills, craft equipment in blacksmith and
gather medals and of course level them up by either fighting or feeding them items such as strawberry
pie.
Experience: Commander’s lvl CAN NOT be higher than Lord’s lvl,in other words your level. To increase
Lord lvl : Do quests, kill raid leader, alliance quests, attack other players, use instants etc.
Battle mechanics:
Commanders have special skills and they use them in battle. Upgrade all commanders as higher you can.
They boost your army stats.
Archers counter all other troops and all other counter archers. Pikemen better at killing cavalry, cavalry
against infantry ,infantry against pikemen. Higher the tier of troops stronger the army. There are total 4
tiers. Each tier is stronger than the last one for 1 point. See the ? on the troops for detailed info. To
unlock higher tier soldiers do the research in Meister’s tower
Wall- You can build defenses on it and also upgrade the durabili ty (same as health for troops) higher
durability better and stronger wall.
You can also use temporary boost for your troops when you do rallies and attack rebel leaders and other
players.
World Map
To be most effective on the map upgrade pathfinding as high as you can. Other
things are useful too but this one is used for all.
Farming:
As I mentioned above you can get all kinds of resources by sending troops to
mines/farms/lumbermills. The higher the weight training and resource exploration (both in
meister tower) the more and the quicker they will gather. You also have chance for rare drops
such as corundum, jute etc.
You can also get resources from other players, but be mindful: scout, send enough army and
expect retaliation, mails and or complaints. You cannot attack members of your own alliance
but you can attack members of an alliance that is in non-attacking agreement with yours. So
make sure you don’t break the treaty, or if you do face consequences.
Rallies:
Rallies are organized attacks against different levels of rebel camps. They spawn on the map randomly.
To see how much longer the camp will be there see its timer. Also mind the level of the camp, its rating
points scout it and make sure it is not far. AVOID camps with 1.000.000 points at l east until you reach lvl
30. Another IMPORTANT thing is to see if you can get camps with higher and rarer level chests. To get
this info scout the camp. The higher your scouting level the more precise reports.
To start or join rally you must have bannerman’s hall. The higher its level, the more members can join
and more soldiers can be sent. The initiator of the rally provides the boosts from his commanders and
his personal stats, thus with stronger initiator you can destroy higher level camps.
CRUCIAL: the camps are made in such way so they will correspond with the tiers of the troops. Lvl 1
camp (unless it has millions) can be easily won with 5-6 members with T1 soldiers. Level 2 with Tier 2
ect. Wall durability is also very important. Avoid camps with hi gh number of points. Not sure at which
scouting level that unlocks, but if you need it scouted, ask higher player to scout it for you. 1000-10.000
durability is beatable with 5-10 people.
Last but not least: Don’t be afraid to go for higher lvl camps and e xplore options. The soldiers losses are
minimal and none from the participants loses anything.
Alliance:
Alliance is team work and hard work. Some alliances are more organized than others, some are stronger
than others and some are inactive. If you are unhappy with yours, pass your concerns to officials. If
things don’t improve, find a better one. What is important to remember is that alliances go both ways.
They help you, you help them.
Extra perks are giftboxes and alliance coins and shop.
Events:
There are several and I will not repeat what I said above. I will just add that there is Normal and Elite
events that reset every few hours. Lots of prizes to be won, but you have to work fast. You are asked to
do several types of actions to get points. To see what look at the left side of the panel. This is best used
if you intend to use hastens. Just make sure your hasted action matches the one with the event. Best
prizes are diamonds and hastens. Keeps the balls rolling. But don’t beat yourself up if you don’t max
them out each time. You can (and probably will) skip some simply because you don’t need wh at they
ask.
I will put training grounds (read: arena) here as well, because it is time limited. It is simple beat people
to climb in ranks and get better rewards i .e. diamonds. At first you will fight npc and then you will get to
the real players. It is climb up/down game/competition . To climb up you need to defeat player ranked
higher than you.
Boosts:
and other items can be found in your inventory. There are 5 tabs and click through them. From here you
can access the diamond and alliance shop.
Rating:
You get rating points for actions such as: doing some quests, training army, upgrading buildings,
fortifications, researching and upgrading commanders. Just follow the tips I gave you and you will level
up just fine. To see how much rating of what you have hover over the burning number right from your
profile picture. You can see additional stats in the: Your picture/ Details/ scroll down.
Have fun:)
