LAB 2 Half Wave Rectifier

This document describes a lab experiment on analyzing a half-wave rectifier circuit with a freewheeling diode. The objectives are to analyze the working and performance of the circuit, observe the effect of the freewheeling diode, and perform a simulation. The procedure involves simulating the circuit in Proteus and observing waveforms for current, diode voltage, inductor voltage, and output voltage. Results and analysis of the waveforms are presented to demonstrate the working principle and effects of adding the freewheeling diode to the rectifier circuit.
