Flare Noise Prediction

This document provides a method to predict noise levels from industrial flares. It includes formulas to calculate sound power levels and sound pressure levels at different frequencies based on factors like flare height, gas flow rate, and distance from the flare. The results are presented in tables for three different cases, showing noise levels decrease with increasing distance from the flare. The method allows predicting noise spectra and total A-weighted sound levels for flares to assess environmental noise impacts.
