Subject: Opportunity for Students- STEMcx Workshop and Expo 2019

Good Morning,

I hope all is well and happy Monday. I wanted to share an amazing opportunity with you for
your students. Kaiser Permanente is sponsoring the below event and have 20 spaces
available.

The Transforming Lives Community Development Corporation (TLCDC) is partnering with

the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Conference and Expo (STEMcx)
committee to sponsor the STEMcx 2019, the third conference and expo created to stimulate
an interest in STEM for Baltimore's youth and encourage students to view those disciplines
in a new and exciting way. The event is Saturday, March 16, 2019. This is a free event, and
there will be more than 400 students in attendance including teachers and parents. Students
will receive breakfast and lunch and enjoy a full day of engaging STEM activities.

If you have any students in grades 5-12 that are interested please have them register at this
link and send me their names by Friday, March 1, 2019 so that we can work to organize
transportation if needed. Also, feel free to share the below flyer with
students/parents/teachers.
Warmest Regards,

Kayanna
