Subject: Liberal Studies Topic: Plastic Free Movement

■ Students’ background:
The ability of the students is average.

■ Prior knowledge:
Students do not have any prior knowledge on this topic.

■ Objectives:
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
1. explain why the movement occurs, what the movement is about, how people respond to it
2. demonstrate the effects of reducing plastic to the society and environment
3. analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the movement
4. give reflections and comments on the Plastic Free movement
5. practice their communication skills
6. role-play different stakeholders involve in the Plastic Free movement
7. apply their collaboration skills during discussion
8. evaluate the pros and cons of Plastic Free movement
9. analyze how can people do better to save the world
10. reflect on the importance of environmental protection
11. develop a sense of responsibility for protecting the earth
