2017 In Service Training (INSET) Proposal

I. Title: Mid-Year Assessment Review and School-Based In Service Training


II. Proponent Agency: Felipe Carreon Central School
III. Program Beneficiaries: Twenty-Eight Teachers
IV. Date of Implementation: October 23-27, 2017

V. Rationale:
Felipe Carreon Central School is conducting its annual INSET this coming
October 23-27, 2017. This 5-day activity shall include: Orientation and Overview
of Early Childhood Literacy and Numeracy, The Essence of 21st Century Learning
Environment, Professional Goals Development Plan, Values Enrichment,
Production of Instructional Materials, Classroom Structuring, Performance
Review/Revisiting Teachers’ Performance and School-Based Management
Program versus accomplishments.
The facilitators for this training are the School Principal, Assistant
School Principal, and the 2 teachers who undergone training in Early Language
Literacy and Numeracy (ELLN) in Cagayan de Oro City, Master Teachers and
District Supervisor and other resource speaker. The training aims to refresh
teachers’ expertise in actual teaching and motivating them to enhance their
capabilities and commitment towards work. New information of different
strategies in Early Language Literacy and Numeracy is also introduce to enable
teachers’ to be effective in Teaching Beginning Reading.

VI. Objective:

a) Orient and equip teachers in the basic strategy and reading techniques in
the Early Literacy and Numeracy;
b) To determine the child development that helps teachers’ to categorize
individual variations of learning and the necessity to apply differentiated
instruction;
c) To augment teachers professional growth in classroom management;
d) Supervise teachers in producing/creating efficient instructional materials
appropriate in teaching-learning process;
e) To enrich their commitment and dedication towards work.
f) Assess teachers’ Mid-year Performance using the latest RPMS and
monitor further accomplishment to the identified targets;
VII. Training Strategy and Methodology:

a. Schedule / Conduct of Training:


The training shall be conducted on October 23, 2017 to October
27, 2017 in Felipe Carreon Central School.
b. Participants:
The participants are the twenty-eight (29) Elementary School
Teachers and staff and two schoolheads of Felipe Carreon Central
School.
