MALEIC ANHYDRIDE

Description/Applications:

It is used in manufacturing of plasticizers, polyester resins, alkydic and maleic resins, additives for
lubrication oils, insecticides, herbicides and fungicides, fumaric acid and glue for paper.

PACKAGING :

When the product is in the briquettes form, aggregation and acidity increase problems are reduced
due to bigger dimensions.

STORAGE :
Molten: in stainless steel (316) tanks, grounded, with temperature kept between 60 -65º C
and using nitrogen to keep inert the atmosphere. These conditions provide best performance as
to color stability.
Solid : in dry and airy environment in covered area, away from possible sources of flame and
humidity. Since it is a hygroscopic product, it is not recommended to store for long periods.
