ABSTRACT

Solar energy is radiant light and heat from the sun that is harnessed using a range of ever-
evolving technologies such as Solar heating, photovoltaics, solar thermal energy, soar
architecture, molten salt power plants and artificial photosynthesis. A solar powered mobile
phone charging station is proposed in this paper. The proposed system can be installed in any
public places like market, bus stops and other shopping places or the places where people gather
to charge their mobile phones. The system is designed in such a way that any mobile phone can
be charged. The hardware of the proposed mobile phone charging station is implemented and
tested.

Keywords: Solar Energy, Photovoltaic, Abnormal Battery Drain, Mobile Charger, Voltage
