Somers' d was run to determine the association between

participants. There was a strong, positive correlation between customer satisfaction and hotel room cleanliness, which was statistically significant (d = .603, p < .0005).
A chi-square test for association was conducted between
gender and preference for performing competitive sport. All expected cell frequencies were greater than five. There was a statistically significant association between gender and preference for performing competitive sport, χ2(1) = 5.195, p = .023.
